Most people respond to that statement in disbelief.  Yet, research indicates that Biblical Christians make up less than 1% of the population and that there are presently 50 towns with no evangelical church.

In a nation of nearly 5 million people, with such a historical reputation as the land of 'saints and scholars' it is difficult to understand how this can be the case.

Yet, on the ground the devotion to religion is waining, and secularism is rising. The Bible is a book that many have not read, and know very little about.
